About Us

Who we are

SYWELL ARE A FRIENDLY AIR RIFLE AND PISTOL CLUB MEETING ON SUNDAY MORNINGS FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO TAKE PART IN THE SKILL OF AIRGUN SHOOTING.

THE SASC RANGE IS LOCATED WITHIN THE SYWELL RANGE, NOT SYWELL VILLAGE – ON THE RIGHT OF THE A43 (KETTERING ROAD) ABOUT 2 1/2 MILES (4 KM) FROM THE SHELL GARAGE ROUNDABOUT NEAR MOULTON – OR 5 1/2 MILES (9 KM) FROM THE A14 ROUNDABOUT AT KETTERING, ON THE LEFT THIS TIME, OBVIOUSLY!

TAKE THE TURN, DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD, TURN LEFT BEFORE THE CAR PARK AND DRIVE TO THE END OF THE ROAD TO ANOTHER CAR PARK, WHERE WE CAN BE THERE TO MEET YOU, IF ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE.

WE ARE AFFILIATED TO THE NSRA NATIONAL SMALL-BORE RIFLE ASSOCIATION , FENLAND FIELD TARGET ASSOCIATION AND TO THE BFTA -BRITISH FIELD TARGET ASSOCIATION.

Sywell Airgun Club is fortunate that it shares its grounds with a number of other shooting clubs and has access to a club house and a fully furnished café which can supply cooked foods and hot and cold drinks.

Currently we have 2 shooting areas available to us with the option of a third when holding club competitions. Both shooting areas have the facility to shoot up to 55 yards.

On normal club shoots we use 15mm, 25mm and 40mm knock down / knock up targets.

During competitions we change over to 40mm stringed targets, These are a little bit more of a challenge. Air rifles currently used at the club are spring and pre-charged rifles.

We also have a fully equipped covered Pistol Range. On this we can offer knockdown/reset targets and paper targets.
